Mama D — The character based upon the life of the blog author. She’s a 30-year-old American woman with crazy hippy-dippy leanings. She wants kids (notice she did not say babies–she doesn’t generally like babies) and looks forward to parenting (mostly), but is pretty clueless. So she started this site to amuse all of you with just how clueless she is.
Papa M — Mama D’s amazing husband. He’s a 37-year-old Korean man who wants his first kids before he’s 40, so D agreed to start the kid-making process a few years earlier than her ideal. He is enthusiastic about this, but probably equally clueless.
Baby J — due December 2, 2011. Current location: Uterus. Favorite Activity: Kicking Mama D's various vital organs at inappropriate times.
Mom — D’s mother. A brilliant scientist and over-eager grandma-to-be.
Dad — D’s father. An engineer who looks like Santa Claus, with a gift for making babies comfortable on his big belly.
Brother B –D’s younger brother.
Sister S — D’s younger sister.
Ohmma — M’s mother. A loving Korean mom who dedicated her life to her two children and cannot wait to have grandbabies. Lives in Korea.
Brother MS — M’s younger brother. Lives in Korea.
Sister I — MS’s wife. Lives in Korea.
